Sendandsee's mobiprint™ mobilizes leading Finnish media
Nov 2005
Sendandsee strengthens its position as one of the leading global providers of mobile publishing systems.
Sendandsee has created the services announced today by leading Finnish media companies Helsingin Sanomat, MTV3 and YLE (Finland’s national public broadcasting company). Sendandsee has also licensed its mobiprint product to all involved companies. Other notable Finnish users of Sendandsee’s products are Talentum and Kauppalehti.
Sendandsee’s mobiprint publisher™ is a mobilization toolkit for digital media content. Sendandsee has developed its mobiprint technology since 2003, and already has a proven track record of not only being at the forefront of mobile publishing as far as features are concerned, but providing a robust publishing platform that can be easily integrated into existing editorial systems and processes as well.
“I am very happy that several leading media companies simultaneously came to the conclusion that professional mobile publishing has now become feasible in real life.”, says mr. Aape Pohjavirta, CEO at Sendandsee Ltd.
“mobiprint offers a completely new intuitive mobile user experience. Its usability design really takes into consideration the modern day newspaper user, and finally makes it possible for the general public to adopt mobile content services.” states Anders Stenbäck, Business Development Manager at Helsingin Sanomat (Finland’s largest daily newspaper).
Sendandsee intends to rapidly grow into other markets with the same strategy it has followed in its home market. "Driving a simultaneous launch of multiple services combined with a sophisticated distribution channel is a path to follow." says Aape Pohjavirta. "The experiences we have gathered from the development and implementation work towards today's launch give us an understanding for what is required in today's international markets."
